Philosophy brings confidence
Philosophy brings confidence because we learn that there is a
direction in life, a way for each human being to learn and grow
from wherever they are.
Philosophy is a global education. We learn to learn from our
experiences that we are much more than the physical body, and
that there is something greater in all of us. The knowledge of
the human being and the universe provides a great stability and
anchor in our lives.
It gives us more and more confidence and courage to face the
unknowns and to realize that what we can truly count on lies
within us, and it is not the external world that is a source of
strength.
It is learning we are capable in the midst of mistakes and
disasters, and constantly challenging ourselves, always
discovering that we are capable of much more.
